Dubai Emerges as a Premier Destination for Young Musicians with the Middle East Classical Music Academy 2025

The fourth edition of the Middle East Classical Music Academy (MECMA) will be held in the global, ever-growing hub of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from April 6 to 21, 2025, inviting young talent from around the globe to an illuminating educational and cultural journey.

Widely known as one of the world's leading luxury vacation destinations, Dubai is rapidly evolving into a global cultural capital thanks to its vibrant lifestyle, friendly hospitality, rich culinary heritage and centuries-old Arabic traditions. The modern-day metropolis' cultural scene features everything from award-winning galleries, sensational arenas, modern art hubs and traditional spaces, presenting a world of creativity to discover. Home to a thriving artistic community that welcomes new and emerging talent, in the past few years, the thriving UAE city has welcomed exciting creative projects focusing on themes such as art, literature, fashion, film, music, and so much more.

In terms of classical music, in recent years, Dubai has hosted illustrious projects such as InClassica International Music Festival, Classic Piano International Competition, A Thousand Tales ballet and Middle East Classical Music Academy (MECMA), among others, introducing audiences to the beauty of this sophisticated music genre. Most recently, MECMA will make its highly anticipated comeback to the Pearl of the Gulf for its fourth annual edition in 2025 after the success of its previous three iterations. Taking place from April 6 to 21, 2025, the academy offers masterclasses for youth orchestras along with a series of individual lessons in different categories ranging from violin, cello, flute, french horn to trumpet, trombone, saxophone, piano, and others, each hosted by world-renowned professors from all around the world along with daytime concerts hosted in some of Dubai’s best venues.

Furthermore, MECMA 2025 is being held in collaboration with the celebrated InClassica Festival's 14th edition, allowing students the opportunity to attend 16 outstanding concerts at the stunning Dubai Opera. Participants will receive a graduation diploma after gaining valuable experience learning from distinguished musicians such as Giuseppe Gibboni and Alexander Chaushian first-hand and developing a deeper understanding of their instruments. Additionally, they will also receive accommodation in a grand 4-star hotel, free transportation, the option to arrange group lunches and dinners to socialise with their peers, as well as get to explore one of the world's most famous cities, home to the largest shopping mall, the tallest skyscraper, and a host of extravagant venues.

Spaces for MECMA 2025 are limited, so we encourage prospective students to apply quickly to secure their spots and embark on a transformative journey of artistic development and world-class performances.
