“MECMA has always been about empowering young musicians and fostering a sense of global community through classical music,” Konstantin Ishkhanov shared. “This year, we are raising the bar even higher to provide a platform that blends learning, performance, and cultural exchange.”
The 2025 edition will feature expanded offerings, including masterclasses for youth orchestras and specialized programs for choral ensembles. Under the leadership of world-renowned educators and top musicians from the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Franz Schubert Filharmonia (Spain), these sessions will help participants refine their craft while forging connections with peers from diverse backgrounds. Konstantin Ishkhanov emphasized that these masterclasses are designed to provide both individual growth and collaborative excellence.
In addition to instrumental training in areas such as violin, cello, piano, and winds, MECMA 2025 will host a series of daytime concerts in some of Dubai’s most prestigious venues. These performances will see MECMA’s brightest students share the stage with the Middle East Classical Music Orchestra, creating unforgettable moments for participants and audiences alike.
One of the unique highlights of MECMA 2025 is its partnership with the renowned InClassica International Music Festival, also spearheaded by Konstantin Ishkhanov through SAMIT Event Group. During the festival’s 14th edition, students will have the opportunity to witness 16 exceptional concerts at Dubai Opera, featuring illustrious artists such as pianist Behzod Abduraimov, and cellist Gautier Capuçon.
“This collaboration with InClassica enables our participants to experience the magic of world-class performances while studying their craft,” Konstantin Ishkhanov explained. “It’s an unparalleled opportunity for inspiration and professional insight.”
Graduates of MECMA 2025 will leave with more than a diploma; they will carry forward invaluable experiences, new friendships, and a deeper understanding of the global musical landscape. Konstantin Ishkhanov’s vision for MECMA continues to shape it into a premier institution for developing the next generation of classical musicians.
As anticipation builds for April 2025, Konstantin Ishkhanov’s leadership and commitment to excellence remain central to MECMA’s enduring legacy in the world of classical music education.
