Registration Opens for the 4th Edition of the Middle East Classical Music Academy

The Middle East Classical Music Academy (MECMA) is now accepting applications for its 2025 edition, taking place in Dubai from April 6 to 21. Aspiring musicians are encouraged to secure their spots for this premier music education initiative, featuring world-class professors and a wide array of masterclasses tailored for individuals and ensembles.

The 4th edition of the Middle East Classical Music Academy (MECMA), the MENA region's largest music education initiative, is set to take place in Dubai from April 6 to 21, 2025. Organizers have officially opened registration, inviting young musicians from across the globe to participate in this unparalleled educational event.

MECMA 2025 will offer an expanded program of masterclasses for 11 different instruments, including violin, cello, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, trumpet, trombone, saxophone, and piano. The Academy will also provide specialized courses for youth orchestras and choral ensembles, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for individuals and groups alike.

The faculty comprises an extraordinary roster of internationally acclaimed professors, handpicked for their expertise and dedication to musical excellence. Confirmed names include pianists Cordelia Höfer-Teutsch (Austria), Miroslav Kultyshev (Russia), and Giuliano Mazzoccante (Italy); violinists Giuseppe Gibboni (Italy) and Sergei Dogadin (Austria); cellists Alexander Chaushian (UK/Armenia) and Alexander Ramm (Russia); clarinettists Sergey Eletskiy (Russia) and Fabrizio Meloni (Italy); flautist Tommaso Benciolini (Italy), and many more.

In addition to instrument-specific masterclasses, the Academy will feature personal development courses led by renowned conductor and Special Guest Professor Alan Chircop (Malta). This holistic approach ensures that participants can enhance not only their technical skills but also their overall artistic growth.

Attendees will have the option to choose between active and passive participation, allowing each student to tailor their experience to their individual goals.
