Registrations for MECMA 2025 Masterclasses Set to Open Soon
While memories of the spectacular 2024 Middle East Classical Music Academy are still lingering in the minds of students and professors alike, preparations for the newest edition of the lauded Academy are already well underway, with organisers announcing that applications for the plethora of classes and courses that will once again be available to young musicians are soon set to open.
While memories of the spectacular 2024 Middle East Classical Music Academy are still lingering in the minds of students and professors alike, preparations for the newest edition of the lauded Academy are already well underway, with organisers announcing that applications for the plethora of classes and courses that will once again be available to young musicians are soon set to open.
The variety of masterclasses on offer at this upcoming fourth edition of MECMA is going to be wider and more diverse than ever before, with a vast number of options available for individual students and group ensembles alike.
In fact, across its two-week span, the Academy will be featuring classes for no fewer than 11 different instruments, including the violin, cello, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, french horn, trumpet, trombone, saxophone, and piano. There will also be a number of courses specifically designed for youth orchestras, as well as masterclasses tailored for choral ensembles.
Each of these educational endeavours will be led by a teaching cohort gathered together from amongst the leading pedagogues of our time, with professors travelling to Dubai from all over the world just for this special occasion.
Moreover, in addition to the multitude of instruments that will be catered for in this 4th edition of MECMA, attendees will also be able to choose between active and passive participation for the event, thereby guaranteeing that each student will have the opportunity to select the experience that is best suited for their needs.
Irrespective of course or participation method, all Academy attendees will be awarded with a diploma of graduation upon successful completion of their classes, as an acknowledgement of their dedication to their journey towards musical excellence.
