Sergei Dogadin, professor at MECMA 2025, to Perform at Accordi Musicali Festival 2026

Internationally acclaimed violinist Sergei Dogadin, one of the professors of MECMA, is set to appear as a soloist at the Accordi Musicali Festival 2026, adding further distinction to the festival’s upcoming edition.

Recognized as one of the leading violinists of his generation, Dogadin rose to international prominence following his First Prize and Gold Medal at the International Tchaikovsky Competition. This major achievement, alongside top prizes at the Joseph Joachim International Violin Competition and the Singapore International Violin Competition, firmly established his reputation on the global stage.

Since his debut at the Saint Petersburg Philharmonia Grand Hall under Vasily Petrenko, Dogadin has performed in some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including the Berlin Philharmonie, Wiener Musikverein, Royal Concertgebouw, and Suntory Hall. As a soloist, he has collaborated with leading orchestras such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, and Munich Philharmonic, working with some of the most distinguished conductors of our time.

A graduate of the Saint Petersburg Conservatory, and further trained in Cologne, Graz, and Vienna, Dogadin continues to build an impressive international career. Alongside his performing activities, he is also active as a pedagogue, currently serving as Professor at the Centro Superior Katarina Gurska.

His appearance at Accordi Musicali Festival 2026 is expected to be one of the highlights of the programme, offering audiences the opportunity to experience his refined artistry, technical brilliance, and deeply expressive musical voice.
