The Class of Professor Yernazar Gimarat to Present a Chamber Music Concert in Kazak

On 16 February 2026, the class of Professor Yernazar Gimarat, one of the acclaimed jury members of the MECMA Competition will present a chamber music concert titled “Salon of Chamber Music”, offering audiences an evening dedicated to refined ensemble performance and the artistic growth of young musicians.

The concert will take place at 18:30 in the Gaziza Zhubanova Chamber Hall of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory in Almaty. The event brings together students of the Republican Specialized Music Boarding School for Gifted Children named after Akhmet Zhubanov, one of the country’s leading institutions for musical education.

Under the guidance of Professor Yernazar Gimarat, whose pedagogical work is widely respected in Kazakhstan, the students will perform a chamber music program that reflects both technical maturity and musical sensitivity. The concert highlights the importance of chamber music as a cornerstone of professional training, fostering listening skills, collaboration, and artistic responsibility.
