• Professional Experience: Gulmira Kurganbayeva is a PhD in economics, Master of Public Administration (MPA), analyst, and business trainer with over 10 years of experience. She is the founder and CEO of the online academy “Ұлттық Ұстаз” (Ulttyq Ustaz), as well as the founder of Alem University and UBES School. Her expertise includes consulting on strategic development for more than 50 Kazakhstani companies, including “Sulpak Electronics,” BI Group, “Interoptika,” and others.
• Education and Career: Gulmira Kurganbayeva has held various academic and administrative positions, including the role of rector at the Almaty Management University and dean of the School of Public Policy and Law. She also completed an internship in innovative economics at Duke University in the United States.
• Educational Initiatives: In her work, Gulmira Kurganbayeva aims to create a world-class university – Alem University – which will prepare students with practical skills in business, engineering, pedagogy, and new media. She actively works on forming an educational environment that fosters the development of individuals with high social responsibility.
