French Horn
Born in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. After graduating from Miura Gakuen High School, he completed his studies in the Instrumental Music Department at Tokyo University of the Arts. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Acanthus Music Prize and the Doseikai Prize and performed at the university’s Doseikai Newcomer Concert.
He has studied horn under Masahiko Mori, Yoshihiro Suyama, Tsuyoshi Hidaka, Hiroshi Kigawa, Yasushi Katsumata, and Mika Toyota. In the 38th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition, he won 3rd place in the horn category.
He has performed at major festivals such as the Tokyo Spring Festival and the Kitakyushu International Music Festival. As a principal guest player, he has appeared with professional orchestras including the NHK Symphony Orchestra and the Geidai Philharmonia Orchestra.
He is currently a horn player with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.
