Victor <br>Caldera — Middle East Classical Music Academy-2025

Victor Caldera was born in Venezuela, San Felipe, Yaracuy state, where at the age of 9 he began his trumpet studies under the tutelage of maestro Marcos Caldera. He has been a member of the children's, youth and professional symphony orchestras of his state as well as part of the chamber ensembles: ‘ARBANS’ brass quintet, brass ensemble of the Yaracuy symphony and the Yaracuy state concert band.

In 1998 he joined the Venezuelan national children's national team, with which he toured Venezuela, America and Europe. He has participated in master classes with maestros Alexander Barrios, Jairo Hernández, Alfredo D'addona, Francisco ‘Pacho’ Flores, Thomas clamor, Mark Rice, Rolf Smedvig, Michael Thunel, Allam Cox, Frank Puccini, Winton Marsalis, Max Sommenhalder, among others.

In 2004 he joined the trumpet section of the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, with which he performed concerts and toured around the world under the baton of great maestros such as Sir Simon Rattle, Claudio Abbado, Lorin Mazel and Gustavo Dudamel.

He has participated in several productions as guest trumpet player of the Franz Schubert Filharmonia, Orquesta Filarmónica de Jalisco, Mexico, trainer of the youth national team of Panama, workshop leader and teacher of the Iberoacademy in Medellin, Colombia, and he performs solo concerts and masterclasses nationally and internationally.

Since 2012 he has been an artist and representative of the prestigious trumpet manufacturer SCHAGERL AUSTRIA.
